The lemon detox diet or master cleanse diet was discovered by Stanley Burroughs in 1941, although he only released a book on the lemon detox diet in 1976.


What is the lemon detox diet?Edit

Around for almost 4 decades, the Lemon Detox Diet is a cleansing / detoxifying diet that concentrates on flushing out toxins. Although primarily invented for detoxification the added weight loss benefits of the diet has seen it's popularity increase amongst Hollywood celebrities.

Basically, when using the lemonade maple syrup diet you are only allowed to drink the lemon maple syrup cocktail while on the detox.

You should drink at least 60 oz of lemonade a day (between 8 and 12 individual servings) but you shouldn't eat or drink other foods.
